SLAVKIN WINS BRONZE MEDAL AT WORLD HAND-CLAPPING CHAMPIONSHIP
This is Slavkin in his natural habitat. The movie theater. And on the night this shot was taken, Slavkin was watching one of his favorite films of all time - the smart-ass screwball comedy: “What’s Up, Doc?” starring Barbra Streisand and Ryan O’Neal, (and if you really want more info: directed by Peter Bogdanovich and written by Buck Henry, David Newman and Robert Benton.) As a graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Slavkin is best known as the creator/executive producer of SALUTE YOUR SHORTS on Nickelodeon; and the writer of Brad Pitt’s feature film debut, CUTTING CLASS. As a director, Slavkin recently completed a 45-episode webseries for the online site HAPPY CAMPER LIVE.COM.
Passionate and involved in national political issues, Slavkin is a proud supporter of validated mall parking and he has lobbied Congress to protect and preserve the endangered unlimited free soda refill.
